Information
Stratford Railway
Stratford (London) railway station (not to be confused with Stratford-Upon-Avon) is located in Travelcard Zone 3 of Newham, East London. It is often referred to as Stratford Regional to distinguish between the Stratford International station nearby which cannot be accessed via a Southeastern High Speed connection (public transport is available; it is an estimated 5 minutes walk).
The station is a major transport interchange with a 24-hour service and additional facilities including a multi-storey car park in the vicinity, cash machines, ticket offices, bus services, cycle racks and taxi depots.
National Express East Anglia, c2c and both the London Underground and Overground train services all allow access to this station. Services also include a DLR (Docklands Light Railway) extension and as of 2010 a point of call for Eurostar trains at Stratford International Railway. These will enable a high speed link from the Channel Tunnel via the Ebbsfleet International and St. Pancras stations.
